Southern Cross Cannabis Clinic is a specialist centre that works with Australians who take prescribed medical cannabis. 

The practice employs a team of doctors and other allied health professionals who are experienced in prescribing medical cannabis. They work with patients to assess their suitability for cannabis and find the right medication for the patient’s condition. The clinic currently prescribes medical cannabis for a range of conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s, refractory epilepsy, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. 

Southern Cross Cannabis Clinic offers appointments via a telehealth platform and on-site. They work with people referred by a doctor, self-referred patients and veterans whose medical cannabis is funded by the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA). 

The practice also hosts registrars completing their GP training and is currently participating in a University of Wollongong study.
