Do you live in New South Wales? The Legalise Cannabis Party NSW needs your help right now.
The party is currently working towards formal registration but urgently needs more members to meet the requirements. Political parties in NSW need 750+ members to register, and the Legalise Cannabis Party NSW is nearly there. The deadline is Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.
Your joining could be the difference between the party running candidates at the next election, so don’t put this off if you want to join.
You only need to complete two crucial steps to become a registered member.
First, fill out this form.
Second, download the NSW Electoral Commission Declaration, fill it out and send it to this email address: [email protected]. The Declaration of Party Membership form is here.
You must give the same details listed on the Electoral Roll (which you can check here), and you must write the party name as “Legalise Cannabis NSW Party.” If you don’t, your membership may not count.
It’s that easy.
Anyone living in NSW who is older than 16 and is registered to vote can join. You don’t have to be a cannabis user — Legalise Cannabis NSW welcomes anyone who wants cannabis law reforms and a fairer go for medical cannabis users.
