Tasmanian Botanics is a family-owned cultivator and manufacturer of cannabis and medical cannabis products. Located in Tasmania, the company runs a 85,000 square metre cultivation facility. 

Founded back in 2016, Tasmanian Botanics was the first Australian company to receive cannabis cultivation, manufacturing and research licences from the Office of Drug Control simultaneously. The organisation now holds a total of 16 medical cannabis licenses and permits, as well as a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). 

Tasmanian Botanics is an environmentally-conscious manufacturer and extracts cannabis oil using a Supercritical CO2  extractor as part of their ‘Clean and Green’ philosophy. 

The company also runs a genetics research program from their Tasmanian facility.

Tasmania Botanics announced a partnership with ASX-listed company ECS Botanics Holdings back in May 2020. They now supply medical cannabis domestically and internationally.
